CX-401
Lite-Puter CX-401 DMX, DMX 4CH DIMMING CONSOLE WITH STROBE CONTROL
The console connects via DMX output 5-pin XLR. Power input is DC +9V 500mA, which is often supplied from a compatible Lite-Puter dimming pack.
Operation (Chase)
- Programs: 10 chase programs (numbered 0-9), each with 8 steps.
- Starting a Chase: Push the desired program number (0-9).
- Speed Control: Push the Speed (SP) button to activate speed adjustment mode, then increase/decrease speed (16 levels, 0~9 and A~F).
- Direction: Push the chase pattern number again to change direction. Push "Auto" for bi-directional movement.
- Fade Mode: The "FUNC" button switches between on/off mode (FUNC light off) and fade-in/fade-out mode (FUNC light on).
Operation (Audio)
- The chase speed can be controlled by audio via a built-in microphone or an external line-in connection on the rear panel.
- Push the Audio (AU) button to activate audio control.
General Functions
The manual details the controls on the front panel:
- Channel Lock Switch: Prevents the chaser from controlling a locked channel.
- Individual Channel & Background Dimmers: Manual control sliders.
- Master Control: Master dimmer and master flash button.
- Flash Buttons: Instant on for individual channels.

Strobe Functions:
- Strobe A: Strobe latches on until pushed again.
- Strobe B: Strobe is active only while the button is held down (all channels and chases off during Strobe B use).
