KPC5K
K‑Tek KPC5K – XLR Jumper Cable with Low‑Profile K‑Tek Connector (Stretches to 5′ / 1.52 m)
Estimated delivery time: 1–2 weeks.
Product description
The K‑Tek KPC5K is a coiled XLR jumper cable designed for professional boompole use, featuring a Neutrik male 3‑pin XLR connector on one end and K‑Tek’s low‑profile, right‑angle female XLR connector (KPRCF) on the other. The cable stretches up to 5 feet (1.52 m), offering excellent flexibility, reduced strain and clean cable management for field production. Made in the USA.
Detailed Description
The KPC5K combines rugged construction with the compact convenience of K‑Tek’s low‑profile KPRCF connector. The right‑angle female connector features a clockable orientation and a labyrinth‑style strain relief system that protects the cable by distributing tension over distance rather than a single pinch point.
The coiled cable design provides natural slack during booming while minimizing excess length and preventing snags. Built with high‑quality materials, the cable includes aluminum‑mylar shielding with a 25% helical overlap for RF protection, 28 AWG soft annealed tinned copper conductors, and a durable polyurethane jacket rated for 105 °C environments.
Optimized for Mighty Boompoles and compatible with most professional audio setups, the KPC5K is ideal for ENG, documentary, film and broadcast applications.
