The K‑Tek KP14VCCR Mighty Boom Boompole features a collapsed length of 48″ (121.92 cm), an extended length of 14′4″ (4.39 m), and weighs 2.68 lbs (1.22 kg). This 5‑section graphite boompole includes a removable headpiece for easy cable reconfiguration without soldering. It comes pre‑installed with an internal coiled cable using the Mighty Boom Right Angle connector (KPRCF) and the KPCCR bottom module providing a male 3‑pin XLR side exit. The top attachment is a 3/8″‑16 male thread. Made in the USA.

Detailed Description

The KP14VCCR is part of the Mighty Boom series, offering a lightweight yet rigid construction ideal for demanding production environments. The removable headpiece allows fast conversion between uncabled, coiled‑cable or transmitter‑mounted configurations without soldering. After loosening a standard set screw, the headpiece threads on or off smoothly, enabling quick field reconfiguration.

The locking collars feature a thick, smooth surface for controlled, gradual extension. Anodized oval divots with exterior dimples provide a secure grip and smooth feel when opening or closing each section. The finish between the tubes is engineered for silent, fluid movement, and each Mighty Boom pole is hand‑burnished to reduce handling noise.

The KP14VCCR is compatible with the KPTA Transmitter Adapter Module and the KPTF Flow‑Thru Module, allowing flexible upgrade paths for different workflows.
