The K‑Tek KGPSS is the short version of K‑Tek’s General Purpose Microphone Suspension Shockmount, designed for a wide range of compact microphones. It uses K‑Tek’s unique K‑SUS polymer suspenders, spaced 2″ (5 cm) apart, to provide effective isolation from handling noise and vibration. Lightweight and versatile, the KGPSS is suitable for ENG, documentary, studio and on‑set applications.

The KGPSS features K‑Tek’s high‑tech K‑SUS suspension system, engineered to deliver excellent shock absorption without the sagging or instability common in traditional elastic mounts. The short frame design makes it ideal for smaller microphones or setups where space is limited.

The shockmount includes a swivel mount with a standard 3/8″‑16 thread, ensuring compatibility with boompoles, stands and grip accessories. Its lightweight construction keeps the overall rig balanced while maintaining secure microphone support.
