The Chimera 2900 Speed Ring is a universal 6‑inch strobe‑mount speed ring designed for attaching Chimera softboxes to a wide range of professional flash heads. Built from precision‑machined aluminum, the 2900 ring provides a durable, lightweight and heat‑resistant interface between portable strobes and Chimera’s small and medium Lightbanks.

The 2900 series uses Chimera’s standard 152 mm (6") circular ring, compatible with most Chimera softboxes including Video Pro, Super Pro X, OctaPlus 2 and Strip Lightbanks. Interchangeable strobe adapters allow the same ring body to be used with different flash brands, making it a flexible solution for photographers working with multiple lighting systems.
