uPRE MKII
AUDIOROOT uPRE MKII – Portable Stereo Microphone Preamplifier with AES/SPDIF Output
The AUDIOROOT uPRE MKII is a compact, battery‑powered stereo microphone preamplifier designed for ENG, EFP, documentary, music and field recording applications. As the upgraded successor to the original 2010 uPRE, the MKII introduces a redesigned electronic architecture and a high‑resolution 24‑bit / 192 kHz AES/SPDIF digital output, making it suitable for modern hybrid and digital workflows.
With two electronically balanced microphone inputs, individually switchable 48 V phantom power, an 80 Hz low‑cut filter, stereo link, M/S decoding, and both analog and digital outputs, the uPRE MKII provides a versatile and professional front‑end for portable recorders, mixers and wireless systems.
Its rugged polyamide/aluminum hybrid housing, flexible powering options and compact form factor make it ideal for demanding field environments.
Estimated delivery time: 1–2 weeks.
