The Sennheiser MKE 600 is a professional shotgun microphone engineered for video cameras and camcorders, capable of handling demanding film and broadcast applications. Its super‑cardioid/lobar pickup pattern provides strong frontal focus with excellent rejection of side and rear noise, ensuring clean dialogue capture even in challenging acoustic environments.

A switchable Low‑Cut filter reduces wind and handling noise, while dual‑powering options—48 V phantom power or AA battery—make the MKE 600 compatible with both professional cameras and consumer camcorders. The rugged all‑metal housing and low structure‑borne noise make it suitable for field production.

The microphone ships with a shock mount, foam windshield and adapter cable for cameras with 3.5 mm TRS input.
