The K‑Tek KPCK9 is a coiled internal cable kit designed for the 9′ Mighty Boom KP9 (6‑section) boompole. It features K‑Tek’s updated low‑profile Mighty Boom Right Angle 3‑pin connector at the top and a TA3F connector at the base, which plugs directly into the KPCCR bottom module. Thanks to the removable headpiece on Mighty Boom poles, installation requires no soldering—simply drop the cable through the top, connect it to the KPCCR module and attach the module to the base of the pole. Made in the USA.

Detailed Description

The KPCK9 cable kit is engineered specifically for the Mighty Boom KP9 and provides a robust, RF‑shielded internal coiled cable solution. The updated Mighty Boom Right Angle connector is built on a Neutrik base and features:

• Thicker‑gauge wiring

• Aluminum RF shielding

• A compact, low‑profile form factor

• Serviceable construction

• Adjustable connector orientation (by unthreading and rotating the housing)

• Reinforced strain relief for long‑term durability

The TA3F connector at the base is enclosed in a machined Delrin shell for added strength and secure cable retention. It plugs directly into the KPCCR side‑exit XLR module.

For extreme weather conditions, K‑Tek recommends removing the cable and leaving the bottom open (or using the KPFT flow‑through module) to allow water to drain through the pole.
