The K‑Tek KPCK20 is a coiled internal cable kit designed for the 20′ Mighty Boom KP20 (6‑section) boompole. It features the updated Mighty Boom Right Angle Low‑Profile 3‑pin XLR connector at the top and a TA3F connector at the base, which plugs directly into the KPCCR bottom module. Thanks to the removable headpiece on Mighty Boom poles, installation requires no soldering—simply drop the cable through the top, connect it to the KPCCR module and attach the module to the base of the pole. Made in the USA.

Detailed Description

The KPCK20 cable kit provides a high‑quality, RF‑shielded internal coiled cable solution for the KP20 boompole. The new Mighty Boom Right Angle connector is built on a Neutrik base and offers:

• Thicker‑gauge wiring for improved durability

• Aluminum RF shielding for superior interference protection

• A compact, low‑profile form factor

• Serviceable construction for long‑term reliability

• Adjustable connector orientation (rotate by unthreading the housing)

• Reinforced strain relief for secure cable retention

The TA3F connector at the base is enclosed in a machined Delrin shell, ensuring a strong mechanical connection and long‑term stability. It plugs directly into the KPCCR side‑exit XLR module.

For extreme weather conditions, K‑Tek recommends removing the cable and leaving the bottom open (or using the KPFT flow‑through module) to allow water to drain through the pole instead of accumulating inside the tubes.
