The K‑Tek KMTS is the short version of the KMount microphone shock mount, designed for compact shotgun microphones or tight mounting environments. It features a protective tube‑style machined aluminum cage and a true 4‑point suspension system using K‑Tek’s KSUS polymer suspenders. Despite its reduced size, the KMTS delivers the same strong grip, durability and vibration isolation as the full‑length KMT.

Detailed Description

The KMTS provides enhanced microphone protection thanks to its rigid aluminum cage, which shields the microphone body while maintaining a lightweight structure. Inside the cage, two KSUS polymer suspenders—spaced 1.1″ (2.8 cm) apart—hold the microphone securely. These suspenders stretch to accommodate most shotgun microphones and offer long‑lasting, sag‑free shock absorption.

The short spacing and compact frame make the KMTS ideal for shorter microphones, camera‑mounted setups, or situations where minimal footprint is required. The 4‑point suspension design minimizes handling noise, mechanical vibration and low‑frequency rumble, ensuring clean audio whether booming or using the mount on a stand.
