The K‑Tek KE89 is a 4‑section Avalon Aluminum boompole with a collapsed length of 2′5″ (74 cm) and an extended length of 7′6″ (218 cm). Weighing 1.110 lbs (503 g), it offers a lightweight, durable and economical solution for ENG, documentary, interviews and general field production. The pole is uncabled and features a 3/8″‑16 male thread at the top and a Delrin base at the bottom.

The KE89 uses Avalon knurled collars paired with K‑Tek’s industry‑trusted locking mechanisms, ensuring smooth extension, secure section locking and quick deployment. Crafted from black‑anodized aluminum with a smooth finish, the pole extends and collapses easily while maintaining excellent handling comfort.
