The centre-channel speaker is the hardest-working speaker in your surround-sound system. The JBL EC25 centre is perfect as a stand-alone unit and even better when used with others in the E series such as the E30 bookshelf speakers or E150P powered subwoofer. The EC25’s dual 5-inch (130-millimetre), PolyPlas™ woofers provide powerful bass without “boominess,” plus clear midrange sounds for crisp, clean vocals; its 3/4-inch (19-millimetre), titanium-laminate tweeter delivers frequencies up to 20kHz and features Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) waveguide technology, which directs sound toward the listening area and away from the walls, making every seat the best in the house. The EC25 measures 18 x 6-7/8 x 10 inches (457 x 175 x 254 millimetres) and comes in an elegant, black-ash enclosure that is sure to enhance any listening space. It’s also magnetically shielded, so you won’t have to worry about it interfering with your video screen.
