 The new CS series uses the latest JBL inventions, such as the PlusOne membrane, which gives speakers more bass and increased efficiency. This membrane is made of polypropylene with a mesh structure, which gives the speaker a perfect sound. CS series speakers have a rubber suspension. The CS series also uses innovative materials to improve their sound - in the tweeter there is titanium. This very lightweight but extremely rigid material allows JBL to produce higher-quality tweeters than any other competing tweeter.
