4060 CORE+

The DPA 4060 CORE+ Omni Mic is the very first miniature microphone developed by DPA from the best technology previously only used in hearing aids and measurement microphones. This microphone handles sound pressure levels up to 134 dB before clipping occurs. This mic is well suited for applications where the sound source is more remote or damped and you need to have a good balance signal versus noise.

Core vs CORE+, what is the difference?
Microphones with CORE+ provide even more clarity across the entire dynamic range, from low to high sound pressure levels.

Miniature microphones with CORE+ provide unheard levels of openness. While CORE allows mics to handle higher SPLs without significant artifacts up to 1% THD, CORE+ eliminates those artifacts completely.

With CORE+ DPA has shifted the sound pressure level at which they achieve THD 0.5% to be nearly the same as THD 1%.

The uniqueness of MicroLock lies in its combination of remarkable flexibility with enhanced reliability. As with MicroDot, this new connector allows you to use your microphones with different brands of transmitters, so you don't have to buy a new mic for each system. In other words, you are no longer bound to one wireless system.

MicroLock® Compatibility
DPA has made MicroLock fully backwards compatible with the MicroDot connection.

This means that MicroLock parts can be assembled with MicroDot parts and function as if they were of MicroDot type.
